It’s Not Easy To Be Me - Superman (Five for Fighting)

Let’s start with the house keeping. This is my first blog, my first foray into sharing thoughts and experiences. I can’t promise it will be interesting, I can’t promise it will be entertaining, I certainly can’t promise it will be good but I can promise it will contain loads grammatical errors and spelling mistake. My goal is that after reading this you will feel whelmed. Not overwhelmed, not underwhelmed, just whelmed. I know some might see it as cocky, but I’ve always said aim for mediocrity.

I want to share my journey. I don’t like my job - it makes me miserable. I feel stuck and don’t know how to get out. Don’t get me wrong, I am extremely grateful in the current environment to have solid employment and I work hard and I believe I do a good job, but I’m not happy. I know there are some many others worse off and this isn’t about being an arrogant arse, this is me wanting to share my story as I set out to repair relationships, fix my health issues and find something that makes me smile again.

Music plays a big part in my feel good factorness everyday so each entry will reference a song that has had an impact on that day and sometimes it may even relate to the topic. There will be cheesy ones, bad ones, great ones and WTF ones. I will share steps that I undertake as I look for a job and other related pieces along the way and maybe even a couple of laughs.
